Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane Howard is the sole heiress to the Dukedom of Norfolk Territory by right of her paternal-great-grandfather’ Last Will and Testament as she is the eldest child and daughter of his youngest grandson, Lord Andrew Charles Howard through his eldest son, Lord Charles Andrew Howard Junior.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard Senior was not a finicky man when it came to his first great-grandchild.

Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane was born at Norfolk Estate on May 1, 2275 and she would be the only one of Lord Andrew Charles and Lady Karissa ‘s children that would be born at Norfolk Estate as the rest of their children would be born at Beltane Manor.

Beltane Manor would become the new estate for the Howard family as Norfolk Estate would no longer be used accept by Lord Andrew Charles Howard when he wanted a retreat

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR would reside out at York Manor, Lord Patrick William Howard II would reside out at Cambridge House, and Lord Charles Andrew Howard III would reside at Sussex Manor.

Norfolk Estate would remain open for the sons to return for a retreat with their sons.

Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane  would be raised at Beltane Manor and she would grow up there under the careful guidance of her mother, Lady Karissa until she was 12 years old and then she would be sent to the finishing school on Star Base 12 to attend day classes but she wouldn’t become a boarder.

Lady Karissa didn’t approve of sending children away to Parhoical or boarding schools, she told Lord Andrew Charles that schools were meant for education and not for children to live at just because their father and mother’s didn’t want to take care of them.

“We gave birth to Lady Elizabeth and the school will not become her father and mother. Their place is to educate her and prepare her to succeed you.” Lady Karissa states.

“Lady Elizabeth will attend day classes and return to Beltane Manor.” Lady Karissa states.

“When a father and mother sends their child away to board at a Parochial or Boarding School it is so that they can pass the buck.” Lady Karissa states.

“I won’t pass the buck onto someone to raise my children.” Lady Karissa states, “and neither will you. Those times are over.” 

“Lady Elizabeth can learn what she needs to learn in day classes with the other girls and then she will return home at the end of the day to be with us.” Lady Karissa states.

“What that damn high priced finishing school doesn’t teach I will teach her myself.” Lady Karissa states, “ I won’t have my daughter attend a  school like Radcliffe in Massachusetts and not learn anything but those damn social graces like settling the perfect dinner table, arranging her damn husband’s social agenda, washing clothes, cooking, picking out the right appliances, and learning to be submissive to a damn cheating husband.” 

“What did you learn at that damn high price Parochial school on Star Base 12, Lord Andrew Charles?” Lady Karissa asks.

“I learned The Academic subjects and sports.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her “ They taught the young men those social graces that all young men need to learn.” 

“What social graces?” Lady Karissa  asked “You must have failed miserably.

“You don’t know the first thing about romance, passion, or making love.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“They may have taught you how to dance and be polite.” Lady Karissa explains, “but you lack romance, passion and the love for music, dancing, and singing.” 

“You show no interest towards the Arts and Humanities and you can not hold an intelligent conversation.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“You have a one dimensional mind.” Lady Karissa states.

“I really think you should concentrate on more important things like literature, music, dancing, and how to please your wife.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“Didn’t your father tell you it was important to keep your wife satisfied and if you didn’t women are no different than men and we will go looking for another man who will.” Lady Karissa explains.

“I think your first cousin twice removed is quite handsome.” Lady Karissa tells Lord Andrew Charles.

“Which one , I have several first cousins twice removed?” Lord Andrew Charles asks. 

Lady Karissa points to Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory.

“Oh! My cousin, Lord Richard William Carey, the great-grandson of my grand Aunt, Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard and Lord William Carey.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

“Do you know that her brothers made sure that she could marry Lord William Carey?” Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.

“My great-grandfather, Lord Frederick William Howard was opposed to Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard marrying Lord William Carey but my grandfather and his two brothers told their father that she would marry the man that she loved and if he didn’t agree he wouldn’t be alive very long. My grandfather drew his sword along with Lord Frederick William II and they told him they would cut into collopes.” Lord Andrew Charles states.

“My great-grandmother was given her bow and arrow  as she was an excellent archer  and with her sons they made Lord Frederick William agree to the marriage of Lady Sophia Charlotte and Lord William Carey.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

Lady Jeanette told her Lord Frederick “ My daughter will marry Lord William Carey, do you hear me” and Lord Frederick, my grandfather and Lord Andrew Charles joined my great-grandmother and my great-grandfather agreed to let them marry.” Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.

“Finally a woman with guts.” Lady Karissa states, “ I was told that she was allowed to pick her husband by her own father, Lord Edmund Beaufort.”

“Yes, my great-great-grandfather did give her that right and my great-grandfather wouldn’t give up until he married her, but Lady Jeanette made sure that my great-grandfather didn’t get his hands on her title or property as Duke of Somerset and it passed onto her nephew, Lord Charles Beaufort.” Lord Andrew Charles states,  “My grandmother made sure that my grandfather didn’t get his hands on the Marlborough territory.” 

“My father would have inherited it from my grandmother but she had a younger brother, Lord Richard Churchill and she passed the title on to his family.” Lord Andrew Charles states.

“The Seymour's inherited the title of The Duke of Somerset by the way of King Henry VIII of England and they have held the title ever since.” Lord Andrew Charles states, “Lord Edward Seymour children by his first wife,  Lady Catherine Fillios descendants inherited it when all the sons by his second wife, Lady Anne Stanhope had no more sons.” Lord Andrew Charles states.

Lady Anne Churchill is the Duchess of Marlborough Territory and she is related to me through my maternal grandmother, Lady Alexandra Elizabeth.” Lord Andrew Charles  tells her.

“I have no idea if she ever married but if she did she most likely has children that will receive it.” Lord Andrew Charles  tells Lady Karissa .

Lady Karissa makes her point very clear “We are Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane Howard’s father and mother and we will raise her and it is the school’s duty to educate and prepare her for the future and not play parent to our child.” 

“We will discipline her with the appropriate punishment.” Lady Karissa states.

“Lady Elizabeth will learn the subjects she needs to learn to govern this damn territory when it comes time like  political science, government, history of Star Base 12, English, Social Sciences, Mathematics, and Science.” Lady Karissa states “I will teach her Literature, Music, Dancing, World Religions, and I will teach her those domestic skills.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“It is a parent’s duty to instruct their children about the facts of life and talk frankly about sex an reproduction as we don’t live in the dark ages anymore and the subject is no longer taboo.” Lady Karissa tells her.

“When we have sons. It is your place to discuss this with them as you are their father.” Lady Karissa states.

“No subject is off limits to discuss with our children.” Lady Karissa explains, “ We must be candid with our children about sex.” 

Lord Andrew Charles  looks at Lady Karissa “ When we have sons and when the time comes I will discuss it with them.” 

“Make sure that they don’t visit those terrible brothels and exploit women.” Lady Karissa states  “ I don’t want our sons visiting those places.” 

Lord Andrew Charles tells her “ There is nothing  wrong with those brothels. It is where both women and men seek their pleasure.” 

“They can seek their pleasure and lust elsewhere.” Lady Karissa retorts. “We want to raise morally responsible children and we don’t want to embarrass your father.” 

Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane  is home-schooled by Lady Karissa until she is 12 years old and she is sent to day school on Star Base 12 to continue her formal education and she returns back home to Beltane Manor to be with her father and mother.

Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane is joined by a younger sister, Lady Samhain Wilhemina  Charlene Howard, Duchess of Clarence Territory in 2276.
