 Return to Star-Fleet Academy

Lord Andrew Charles Howard dresses in his Star-Fleet Academy uniform and Lady Karissa dresses in her Star-Fleet Academy uniform as they both have decided to return to Star-Fleet Academy.

It was a decision they made together to continue their Star-Fleet education as they were becoming bored being Duke and Duchess.

Lord Andrew Charles would be known as Lt. Andrew Charles Howard and Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann would be known as Cadet Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard.

Cadet Karissa Elizabeth enrolls Lady Elizabeth and Lady Samhain into the daycare program at Star-Fleet Academy and Barbara is asked to take care of the children while they attend their classes.

Lt. Andrew Charles and Cadet Karissa Elizabeth Ann will take three classes a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and they will have Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday off.

 Lord Andrew Charles asks his two oldest brothers to take care of Norfolk Territory as regents until he gets out of classes.

Karissa Elizabeth Ann smiles as she sees Andrew Charles in his Star-fleet Academy uniform and she tells him “ You look very handsome in your dress uniform.” 

“You look very beautiful in your Star-Fleet uniform.” Andrew Charles tells Karissa.

“I had to redesign it when I first came. I do believe it seems to be revealing and it should be longer and more modest.” Karissa states.

“I refuse to show my bust and wear something that short.” Karissa tells him.

“I brought the material and redesigned the uniform myself.’ Karissa tells him.

“I never had any taste for such women who show their bursts and don’t show any modesty.” Andrew Charles states, “That is one reason I was drawn to you because you were modest and old fashioned with the old world charm.” 

Lt. Andrew Charles Howard offers Cadet Karissa Elizabeth Ann his arm and with Barbara carrying Lady Elizabeth and Lady Samhain. They walk down the stairs and they climb unto the Howard carriage that will carry them to  Star-Fleet Academy.

When Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR heard that his son and daughter-in-law were returning back to Star-Fleet Academy he looks up and says, “Andrew Charles has always been independent and Karissa has always been the same way.” 

“My grand nephew, Lord David Beck graduated from Star-Fleet Academy in 2270 with a degree in Medical Science at the top of his class.” Lord Charles Andrew JR tells Lady Sarah.

“When Lord David started attend Star-Fleet Academy it angered his good for nothing father, Lord WIlliam Beck and the only support he received was from Lady Charlotte Augusta and her husband, Lord William Frederick Stafford and he naturally had my support and I was there when he graduated and become a Lt. Commander of Star-Fleet Command.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

The Howard carriage carrying Lt. Andrew Charles and Cadet Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard with their two children head for Star-Fleet Academy and the people line the streets to see their Duke and Duchess and two children head for Star-Fleet Academy.

Some of the Star-Fleet students see the Howard carriage pull into the Star-Fleet Academy and Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley and Lt. Richard Williams are two of them and they smile “ By George. It is Andrew Charles and Karissa Howard. I can’t believe my eyes, Richard.” Kevin Riley tells his best friend.

Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley and Lt Richard Williams walk towards the carriage and Lt Kevin Thomas Riley is the first one to greet them is Lt Kevin Thomas Riley and he walks up to them and says.” Welcome back to Star-Fleet Academy.” 

“Thank you Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley.’ Lt. Andrew Charles Howard tells him, “It was Cadet Karissa Elizabeth Ann's idea that we return to Star-Fleet Academy.” 

Kevin and Richard walk over to where Cadet Karissa is standing with Barbara `` We have enrolled our daughters in the day-care program here and Barbara will take care of them while we attend our classes.” Karissa explains.

“I thought it was time we returned to Star-Fleet Academy and took advantage of our scholarships.” Karissa tells Kevin and Richard.

Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley and Lt Richard William with Lord Andrew Charles Andrew Howard and Cadet Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard and Barbara take Lady Elizabeth and Samhain into the daycare program and they are greeted by the lady that oversees the program “ Good Morning Your Grace. We are ready to take care of Lady Elizabeth and Lady Samhain.” Lt. Taylor tells her.

“This is our children’s nanny, Barbara, and she has everything that our children will need until we get out of class. Whatever they need, please see what they get.” Karissa asks.

“Lady Elizabeth and Samhain will be well cared for and we have only ten children here.” Lt. Taylor tells her.

“I have two other young women helping me  Lt. Brown and Lt. Smith.” Lt. Taylor tells her.

“Most of the children here are between 2 and 5 years of age.” Lt. Taylor tells her.

“I am sure Lady Elizabeth will benefit by playing with some other children and we have story time, a nap time and we serve three meals a day and two snacks to our children.” Lt. Taylor tells Karissa.

“Lady Samhain will sleep most of the time, but sometimes she likes to be held.” Karissa tells her and with everything said and done Cadet Karissa and Lt. Andrew Charles along with Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley and Lt. Richard William leaves the Day-Care program.

Cadet Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard tells the men “I am off to my first class of the day. It will last until 10 AM and then I have another class from 11 AM to 12 PM and I have lunch at 12:00 PM until 1 PM. and I have a third class from  1 PM and 2 PM and my day is through.” 

“My first class lasts from 9 AM to 11 AM and I have lunch at 12 PM to 1 PM and I have a second class that lasts from 1 PM to 2 PM and I am through for the day.” Lt. Andrew Charles tells her.

“Why don’t all of us have lunch together?” Lord Andrew Charles asks.

“I think it is a wonderful idea.” Cadet Karissa tells everyone.

Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley and Lt Richard Williams agree that it will be like old times when everyone gets back together.

Cadet Karissa smiles and she heads off for her first class of Medical Terminology at Star-Fleet Academy and when she enters everyone stands and they bow and curtsy to her and the professional smiles “ Good Morning Your Grace. We are honored that you are joining our class.”  Lt. Commander Davis tells her.

“Good Morning Sir.” Cadet Karissa Howard tells him “ Please no formality here. I am just like any student.” and she takes her seat in front of the class and takes out her computer and books.

The class starts and she listens to Lt. Commander Davis gives the class in Medical Terminology and she asks questions about what the medical terminology means and she puts it into the computer.

Finally, the bell rings and the class is over and she heads off for second class which is English literature and she enters the class and she is greeted by Lt. Commander Dickerson.

“Welcome To our class. Your Grace.” Lt. Commander Dickerson tells her.

Thank you, Lt. Commander Dickerson.” Cadet Lowell tells her and she takes her seat in the second row of the class and Lt. Commander Dickerson tells the class that they will study some of the most prominent English writers.

Cadet Karissa Elizabeth Ann takes out her computer and she writes down what her professor tells them and the students are lively in the class and they have good discussions and Cadet Karissa is very excited about her English Literature class.

Lt Andrew Charles Howard sits in his Engineering class with Lord Kevin Thomas Riley and Lt Richard Williams and he opens his laptop computer and starts taking notes and he looks out the window.

While the Lt. Commander is talking. Lt. Andrew Charles Howard asks Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley “ Is this class always so long and drawn out and dry?”

“I am afraid so, Lt. Howard.” Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley states. “I wish they would shorten it.” 

“I think that is a very good idea.’ Lt Andrew Charles Howard states, “ Aren’t there any interesting classes here at Star-Fleet Academy?” 

“We have a debate club, A literature club,and  English Literature classes.” Lt. Kevin Riley states.

“I think that debate club sounds interesting. I think I will join it.” Lt Andrew Charles states.

“What about a social life here at Star-Fleet Academy?” Lt Andrew Charles asks.

“We have four dinner dances a year here.” Lt Kevin Thomas Riley tells him.

“We have a Home-Coming Dinner and Dance, A Halloween Dinner and Dance, Thanksgiving Dinner and Dance, and Christmas Dinner Dance too, but we have a spring dinner dance coming up.” Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley states.

“I think Karissa and I will attend it.” Lt. Andrew Charles tells Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley tells him ‘ Why don’t Lord Richard Williams and you join us. We will make it a quartet..” Lt. Andrew Charles asks.

“We will alway dress up in our finest clothes and we will all walk in together and have a wonderful time. I know that Karissa will love it.” Lt. Andrew Charles tells Lt. Thomas Riley.

“Sure, Lt Andrew Howard. We  would love to join you.” Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley tells him and they continue to listen to the Professor talk.

Finally the bell rings, “Lunch time guys. I know Karissa is waiting for us outside.” Lt. Andrew Charles Howard tells Lt. Riley and Lt Williams and they all walk out of the class and down the corridor together and Cadet Karissa is standing outside “ How was your first class?”

“Gee, don’t ask. It was the most boring class I have ever sat through.” Lt Andrew Charles tells Cadet Karissa ELizabeth Ann.

“How was your first two classes?” Lt. Andrew Charles asks.

“They were fine, but I really like The English Literature class.” Cadet Karissa admits.

“I am joining the debate club.” Lord Andrew Charles  tells her “I need some lively discussion.” 

“I am joining the literature club.” Cadet Karissa tells Lt Andrew Charles.

“We are going to attend the Spring Dinner and dance together.” Lt. Andrew Charles tells her.

“ I love the idea of us all going as friends.” Cadet Karissa states and they all head off for lunch and they all walk in together and everyone stands up in bows and curtsy to Lt. Andrew Charles and Cadet Karissa Elizabetrh Ann Howard and Lt. Andrew Charles Howard tells everyone “ Don’t bow and curtsy to us here. We are just students like yourselves.” 

“We came here to normalize our lives.” Lt Andrew Charles tells the students and they get in line and get their lunch and they all sit together and talk to each other.

“Kevin and Richard. Don’t become a stranger to Beltane Manor.” Lt Andrew Charles tells them.

“You two could drive out and we could all study together and have dinner together. I know Karissa would like that.” Lt Andrew Charles Howard tells him.

“Do come to Beltane Manor and spend the evening with us. It will be like old times.” Karissa states.

Finally, Lt. Andrew Charles and Cadet Karissa have their last class at Star-Fleet Academy and they head off for class.

Lt. Andrew Charles has a leadership class and Cadet Karissa has a history class.

Their first day back at Star-Fleet Academy is full and exciting but they are glad to be able to go pick up their two daughters  and Barbara and head back to Beltane Manor.

Lord Charles Andrew JR is at Beltane Manor to greet his son and daughter-in-law with their children and Barbara as the Howard carriage pulls into Beltane Manor and Lord Charles Andrew JR asksk “ How did your first day go back at Star-Fleet Academy son?”

“It went very well dad. Karissa and I are glad to be returning. It is good for Lady Elizabeth and Samhain to be around other children.” Lord Andrew Charles states.

“I joined the debating club, and they have some lively discussions.” Lord Andrew Charles tells his dad.

“Lady Karissa joined the literature club and Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley, Lt. Richard Williams, Lady Karissa and I will all be attending the Spring Dinner and Dance together.” Lord Andrew Charles tells his dad.

“I am glad you had a good day, Lord Andrew Charles. Lord Charles Andrew III told me nothing had transpired in the Dukedom. He had a quiet day and helped you do some of the paperwork.” Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR tells him.

“Thank you, Lord Charles Andrew Howard III, for helping me govern our great-great-grandfather’s terrority.” Lord Andrew Charles tells his eldest brother.

“You attend classes and I help you govern the territory. It gets me away from Victoria.” Lord Charles Andrew III tells his youngest brother.

“Why don’t you just divorce her, bro and remarry to a woman that you love and have a son.” Lord Andrew Charles asks.

“I have Lady Charlotte Victoria Maud to think about and she needs her mother, although Victoria isn’t much of a mother.” Lord Charles Andrew III states. “We may still get a son.” 

Lady Karissa tells Lord Charles Andrew JR “ We have a busy but productive day. Lady Elizabeth and Samhain need to be fed, bathed and put down for the night. Our next class isn’t until Wednesday, and we have Tuesday, Thursdays and the weekend off to spend with our children.” and with that Lady Karissa picks up Lady Samhain and Barbara picks Lady Elizabeth and they walk into Beltane Manor
