Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard, Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley and Lord Richard David Williams are all best friends and their friendship dates back as when Lady Karissa first arrived on Star Base 12.

All three remember the first Star-Fleet Dinner and Dance they attended as a threesome with Karissa in the middle and Kevin and Richard escorted to the Star-Fleet Dinner and Dance.

Lady Karissa looks at her best friends and smiles and she tells them “ What fun we had at that Star-Fleet Dinner and Dance?”

“We sure did, Karissa.I wish we could do it again.” Kevin tells her.

“I will never understand why you married that stick in the mud Lord Andrew Charles Howard?” Kevin asks her.

“It was a matter of principle and keeping my word.” Karissa explains, “I told myself that the man that gave me my daughter, I would marry him.” 

“Stick in the mud, Dandy Andy Howard did it and I had to keep my word.” Karissa tells Kevin with a laugh.

“Heck, Karissa . You have called him everything in the book that you know.” Richard tells her.

“You would have thought that would have deterred him. “ Kevin tells her.

“I know I called him “Lord Preppy, Stick in the mud, a poor fuck, and everything in the book, but like a new virus he just keep coming back.”  Karissa tells Kevin.

“Lord Preppy wouldn’t take no for an answer, and I told myself I think it would be fun to pick his brain.” Karissa tells her friends.

“I tell you, Dandy Andy is as much fun as a new kind of virus.” Karissa tells Kevin and Richard and they all laugh.

“Let Lord Howard enjoy his short term glory.” Karissa tells her friends.

“Lord Andrew Charles is basking in his glory and victory right now, and he is flooded with paperwork.” Karissa tells her two friends.

“It is an obstacle around his neck and he may find out later on that he wishes he had never become Duke of Norfolk Territory and by that time it will be too late.” Karissa explains.

“At least I can say that Lady Elizabeth is the most beautiful child I have ever seen.” Kevin tells Karissa..

“Lady Elizabeth is the pearl of great price of The Howard family and Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR is happy.” Karissa states, “ He is a good man.”

“I agree with you about Lord Charles Andrew JR, but where did he go wrong with Lord Andrew?” Kevin asks.

“Lord Charles Andrew JR will lay the blame on Lady Patricia and vice versa.” Karissa states.

“Neither of them will accept the responsibility that their youngest son came out to be a total stick in the mud and he has as much charm as rattle-snake.” Karissa tells her friends.

“I don’t think a rattle-snake has much charm.” Kevin tells her, “They are poisonous and deadly.” 

“At least the females but as far as the males are concerned I have no idea.” Karissa tells Kevin.

“Does Lord Andy and you plan to have other children together?” Kevin asks.

“Why of course. I have promised to give him four more children.” Karissa tells him.

“Good grief, Karissa . How can you let him touch you?” Kevin asks.

“It is not easy I can assure you.” Karissa tells Kevin.

“Lord Andrew Charles is quick when he has sex and not making love.” Karissa tells Kevin.

“He sticks it, swishes it about and cums as quick as he can.” Karissa tells Kevin and Richard.

Richard breaks out laughter  “ Good grief, isn’t that high school sex like we grew up with Karissa.?”

“It is but he doesn’t know what high school sex is. He went to a high price parochial school.’ Karissa tells Richard.

“I think that those parochial schools remind me of a college in Massachusetts named Radcliffe University where the women went to college and learned how to be proper young women, and they learned how to cook, set the perfect table, how to entertain their husband’s guests and put up with his cheating ways.” Karissa tells her friends.

“It didn't teach them any academics or how to assert themselves.” Karissa states.

“It sounds like Havard or Yale.” Kevin confesses “A lot of stick in the muds like Lord Andrew Charles Howard.”

“You know what they say “All work and no play makes Jack a very dull boy.” and “Lord Andrew Charles is just that dull as a nail.”  Karissa tells Kevin and Richard.

“I have to admit I love him and I will muddle through it as I made a promise, but in time I will escape and marry the man I love and the man is Lord Richard William Carey.” Karissa tells her friends.

“Gosh, Karissa . Any man would have given you. Your daughter.” Kevin tells her.

“Yes Kevin. That much is true with a price. Marriage and I am married to stick in the mud, Lord Andrew Charles Howard and now I am Duchess of Norfolk Territory and Marchioness of Pembroke Territory.” Karissa explains.

“Lord Andrew Charles isn’t without charm and good looks. He is handsome and he will be the father of my children.” Karissa states.

“One day, Lady Elizabeth will succeed her father to the Dukedom of Norfolk Territory and usher in the dawn of a new age on Star Base 12 and within Norfolk Territory.” Karissa states.

“My Elizabeth will crush and put an end to the Patriarch of Lord Patrick William Howard and usher in the Matriarch of Lord Andrew Charles Howard.” Karissa explains.

“Lady Elizabeth will bring positive change to Star Base 12 and within Norfolk Territory.” Karissa tells Kevin and Richard.

“Lady Elizabeth needs time to be a child and grow up like an ordinary child until her time comes to succeed her father.” Karissa states.

“Lady Elizabeth is a promising beauty even now, Karissa . She will be able to choose any young man on Star Base 12.” Kevin tells her.

“What about Lord Richard William Carey?” Kevin asks.

“I love Lord Richard William and in time I will have our child after I have Lord Andrew Charles and my next two children.” Karissa states.

“Nothing is going to stop us.” Karissa exclaims.

“I will make sure Lord Richard William Carey’s Dukedom survives too.” Karissa states.

Kevin, Richard and Karissa look at each other and they smile “ We will always be best friends and be here for each other.”  They tell each other.

Karissa tells Kevin and Richard “There is a song that sums up our friendship” “What Are Friends For” By Dionne Warwick.

Karissa starts to sing it as Richard starts to play the piano and first Karissa sings the first lyric
