The New Duke and Duchess of Norfolk Territory

It is June 2, 2275, Lord Andrew Charles Howard aged 24 years old is about to become the new Duke of Norfolk Territory on Star Base 12 and by his side is Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard, Marchioness of Pembroke Territory.

Lady Karissa is about to turn 20 years old on June 14, 2275 and Lady Karissa is dressed in a Regency style amethyst and gold lace trimmed dress and Lord Andrew Charles is dressed in a black four piece breasted suit.

“You look very beautiful today.” Lord Andrew Charles tells Lady Karissa.

“You look very handsome in your suit.” Lady Karissa answers.

“I have so many of these damn suits. I wish I could dress like a country squire.” Lord Andrew Charles tells her.

“Why don’t you. You look handsome no matter what you wear.” Lady Karissa tells him 

“I wish it was that easy, Karissa but there is a decorum we must follow.” Lord Andrew Charles states.

“What a bunch of utter nonsense.” Lady Karissa exclaims.

“Andrew Charles Howard. Let me make it crystal clear right now. You wanted to become the next Duke of Norfolk Territory but seeing and wanting are two different things entirely.” Lady Karissa explains.

“You may come to think you have bitten off more than you could chew.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“This is an obstacle around your neck and in time it may hang you.” Lady Karissa tells him “I want no part of it.” 

“I have Pembroke Territory to govern and it is small and needs me.” Lady Karissa states, “But it will not become first place in my life as I have two babies to take care of - Lady Elizabeth and a 24 year old baby and that is you.” 

“I will place Pembroke in second place as nothing will become between my duties to my husband and child.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“We must discuss when we are going to have our next child. I think in 4.5 years I will be ready to have our second child.” Lady Karissa states.

“Until then, I suggest you take a mistress and I will take a lover.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“Who did you have in mind and is he willing?” Lord Andrew Charles asks.

Lady Karissa smiles and shows Lord Andrew Charles who he is out of her window and he looks at her “ What my damn cousin, Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory?”

“Why of course. I think he is very handsome.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“What am I horsemeat?” Lord Andrew Charles asks.

“No, Lord Andrew Charles. You are not horsemeat and you can;t compare to it.” Lady Karissa laughs.

“I think you are like lard.” Lady Karissa tells him “ It is made out of pigs.”

“Horses are far too good, and on the other hand, pigs eat whatever they can get a hold of.” Lady Karissa states with a laugh.

“Take a mistress or masturbate, and I don’t care which one you do to relieve yourself.” Lady Karissa tells him.

Lord Andrew Charles looks at Lady Karissa “I don’t want a mistress. I have a wife.” 

“I won’t debate that with you, Lord Andrew Charles, but when it comes down to making love to me. You are a sorry excuse for a husband.” Lady Karissa tells him.

“I married you and when the time comes once again, I will give birth to our second child without complaint.” Lady Karissa tells him.

Lord Richard Edward Howard II knocks on their door “ Excuse me, cuz. It is time for the ceremony.”

“Thanks, Lord Richard Edward II. Who is present?” Lord Andrew Charles asks.

“Everyone, Lord Andrew Charles. The Dignitaries from the United Federation of Planets, all the Dukes and their wives are present as well.” Lord Richard Edward II tells Lord Andrew Charles.

Lord Andrew Charles offers his arm to Lady Karissa and they exit their suite and start to walk down the corridor of Norfolk Estate and they enter the corridor where the drawing room is and the red carpet is laid off and the door opens and Lord Andrew Charles with Lady Karissa on his arm walk towards Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR and Lady Patricia Eugenie where they are standing in the front of the room.

Everyone stands as they pass by and the men bow and the ladies curtsy to them as they walk toward where Lord Charles Andrew Jr is waiting.

Lord Andrew Charles and Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann finally reach the altar and Lord Charles Andrew JR smiles and he makes the formal announcement that Lord Andrew Charles Howard by the right of Lord Charles Andrew Howard Senior Last Will and Testament is the rightful heir to the Dukedom of Norfolk Territory and his wife is Duchess.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR calls out to all the guests “ May I present to you, Lord Andrew Charles Howard and Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard nee Lowell, the new Duke and Duchess of Norfolk Territory.” 

Lord Charles Andrew JR places the Howard cornet upon his youngest son’s head and the robes around his shoulders and Lady Patricia walks towards Lady Karissa and she places the Howard tiara upon her head and places the consort robes around her shoulders.

Lord Andrew Charles offers Lady Karissa is hand and they rise and they stand in front of the guests and Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR calls out for Barbara to bring in the crown of the Howard family - one month old Lady Elizabeth Victoria Ann Beltane and he holds  her and he calls out “ Meet your future Duchess of Norfolk Territory.” 

Lady Karissa walks over and she asks Lord Charles Andrew JR to give her Lady Elizabeth and Lord Charles Andrew JR gives Lady Elizabeth to Lady Karissa and she holds Lady Elizabeth.

Together, Lord Andrew Charles, Lady Karissa  and Lady Elizabeth have their first official picture taken as Duke and Duchess of Norfolk Territory with the new heiress of Dukedom of Norfolk Territory.

“Barbara, please come over here and take Lady Elizabeth back up to the nursery. She is hungry and I will be up there presently.” Lady Karissa tells her.

Lord Andrew Charles and Lady Karissa go and greet their guests and receive congratulations and finally Lady Karissa makes her exit quietly and she heads for the nursery to take care of Lady Elizabeth.
