“Sounds like a good idea to me. Richard turns on the radio in his car and it starts playing so good old fashioned rock music from the 1970’s and Karissa smiles, “They had the best music in the 1970’s.”
“Sir Elton John, Billy Joel, Carole King, Carly Simon, James Taylor and so many other great musicians came out of the 1970’s but then the late 1960’s turned out some great music too like

“I remember She’s A Lady” By Tom Jones “I used to dance to it with my friends on Planet Earth and to Iron Butterfly In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida and Clint Richy’s Witchy Woman.” Karissa tells everyone.
“What about The Hollies Bus Stop” and “Black Magic Woman.” Kevin asks.
“What great music they had but I like some of the old Thirty music and how they did swing dancing in the basements in the 30’s.” Richard tells everyone.
Lt Andrew Charles listens to Kevin, Richard, and Karissa talk about the best era of music that Planet Earth ever had. It was between the late 1960’s until the late 1970’s and in between the 80’s they had some great music as well.
“Nichole Larson “ A Whole A Lot of Love.” Karissa states it was great and what about “This City is built on Rocking and Roll.’ By Jefferson Airplane.” Karissa tells them.
“What about The Carpenters?” Karissa asks.
‘I was so heart-broken when I heard that she had died at the age of 29 years old. She had such an angelic voice.’ Karissa tells everyone.
“Sir Elton John is priceless with his music, and he sure got better after his first album.” Kevin states.
“I love his song “I Need You To Turn too.” Richard tells everyone.

The Spring Dinner and Dance at Star-Fleet Academy is decorated in shades of blue, pink, and white with the tables decorated with blue linen tablecloths, silverware, candlelight, streamers of blue, pink and white, and flowers on the tables.

“It is reality and we don’t live in a fantasy world, Andrew Charles.” Richard states.
Finally they start playing the music and the first song they play is' Dance with me’ By Orelans and Karissa smiles as the song brings back memories.

“All of a sudden they put on “The Second Waltz” and Andrew Charles looks at Karissa and asks “May I have the first dance of the evening?”

… Once upon a time there was a tavernthose were the Days
Where we used to raise a glass or two
Remember how we laughed away the hours
And think of all the great things we would do
… Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la La la la la la la
… Then the busy years went rushing by us
We lost our starry notions on the way
If by chance I'd see you in the tavern
We'd smile at one another and we'd say
… Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la La la la la la la
… Just tonight I stood before the tavern
Nothing seemed the way it used to be
In the glass I saw a strange reflection
Was that lonely woman really me
… Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la La la la la la la
la la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la La la la la la la
… Through the door there came familiar laughter
I saw your face and heard you call my name
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same
… Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la la la
La la la la La la la la la la

“Thanks for the escape from reality.” Andrew Charles tells Kevin and Richard.
“Anytime Lt. Andrew Charles Howard and welcome to our reality. We don’t live in a dream world but the very real world of people who aren’t aristocrats.’ Kevin tells him.
Lt Andrew Charles Howard and Cadet Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard return to the world of which Lord Andrew Charles was born into but he at least got the chance to escape for it even if just for an evening.
